First Aid classes in Milltown will resume in October. New members always welcome.

Defibrillator Project: Drumlane Community Partnership Ltd., purchased the first of two Automated External Defibrillators (AED) in early 2007 and the second ten months later. A total of four training courses were held and sixty four people were taught CPR and the use of the defibrillators, this is a remarkable number for a rural area, great credit is due to all who participated. Our first refresher course was held in 2009 so it is now time to refresh again. All who received training have been contacted through text messages or personal contact. When we have a date and time for the course we will be in touch again. In case anybody does not know one defib. is located at the community centre the other at the porch of Parochial house in Staghall, don't forget to check the defibs.
