I am enjoying this site. We, the McCaffrey Family, will be visiting in March 2018. Our family left the townland of Greach Rathain/Graghrahan in 1885. The family parish was Droim Leathan.
Thank you for the wonderful information here and the resources.

Visited Belturbet & Monaghan in Aug. Couldn't find any more family history information in the short time there. Husband's great-grandparents were Edward Kavanagh (b.1846 Drumlane Parish Records)and wife Catherine Timmons. They had 6 children - John, James, Rose Ann, Mary Eliz., Margaret, Noral Ellen. They all left the area for Australia and England and married. We have no dates for death of Edward & Catherine or any info. on Timmons. We did meet a lovely elderly couple in Belturbet (Margaret & John Timmons) from Killylea but they are not related. My searches on the web are not being very fruitful. Does anyone know anything about the Kavanagh and the Timmons familes? Patricia McClafferty
I believe my Fitzpatrick ancestors were from Derryvoney, Drumlane.
--Daniel Fitzpatrick m. Ellen/Helen/Eleanor McINTYRE c.1840
--Their children included:
Patrick
James
Catherine
Ellen
Daniel
Owen
Mary
Rose
Baptismal records found for the last three in Deravona (Derryvony), Drumlane:
--Owen/Eugene 1854; includes godmother Catherine McENTIRE
--Mary, 1857
--Rose, 1859
Also found a Daniel in 1852 in Kilconny.
Ellen and Daniel Fitzpatrick and these 8 children sailed to New York in 1863. Ellen died during the voyage and was buried at sea.
Their daughter Mary (Mary Josephine) married Charles Mansfield in NY in 1884. She is my g-grandmother.

My greatgrandparents came to New York about 1878-1882. Thomas Fitzpatrick, born about 1854. His parents Patrick Fitzpatrick and Rose Leddy. Ellen Drum born about 1856. Her parents James Drum and Kate Soad(?) She may be from Enniskillen. Thomas and Ellen married in NY 1882. I will be visiting September 2017. Would love any info. Thanks!

Well done to Daryl on his win at the weekend with John Mitchel's of Liverpool.
