A very successfull day of training and retraining in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator was held on Saturday March 28th in Drumlane Community Rescouce Centre. See below for Photos.
A total of 20 people completed a four hour course in the use of an AED, this was from scratch and now leaves the total number who have received training at 64. We at Drumlane Community Partnership are very pleased that so many people are willing to learn a skill which someday may save a life. A further 28 people updated the training they had already received, 7 others are members of the local Civil Defence unit and their training in AED use and in general First Aid is ongoing every Wednesday night . We will be in touch with all who trained when we receive their certificates.
There are two defibrillators located in the parish , one at the resource centre , and one at the parochial house at Staghall.
