Drumlane face a trip to Mountnugent in the first round of the Under 21 Division Two football championship next month.
The Sons of O¢¬¢Connell, who lost out narrowly to Drumgoon in last year¢¬¢s quarter-finals, will be the fancied side for this contest when they head east but will also need to be wary of their opponents whom, arguably, boast the threat of one of the finest players in the grade in the form of David Givney.
The game has been scheduled to take place on the weekend of October 9-10, with the winners meeting Cootehill in the quarter-finals.
