Sunday¢¬¢s draw for the Cavan intermediate football championship quarter-finals saw neighbours Drumlane and Killeshandra drawn together in the tie of the round.
Both are considered to be genuine contenders for this year¢¬¢s title, with Drumlane having secured promotion from Division Two and come through their three group games with relative comfort, while the Leaguers have been playing their league football in the top flight all season long and advanced from a group containing Ballyhaise, who are now out of the competition, new favourites Drumgoon and junior champions Butlersbridge (also ousted).
