‘Cavan ‘Friends of For³ige’ are organising a Boot Scuttin Barn Dance on Saturday 5th October in ‘The Seven Horseshoes’, Belturbet to raise vital funds for For³ige. ‘The Shuckdodgers’ guarantee to get you out dancing, singing and throwing shapes. For³ige is Irelands largest National youth oragnistion with over 56,000 young people and 6,000 volunteers involved each year. For³ige contributes to every community around Ireland and we want to be able to maintain the services and programmes provided, despite a 30% cut in funding. Raffle prizes on the night include dinner for 2 in MacNeans Restaurant and B&B in ‘The Slieve Russell’. This is a night not to be missed.
