Pt2. Patrick's brother James born c1839 left for the colony of Queensland and married Roseanne Fitzpatrick the daughter of Thomas and Mary Fitzpatrick of Feugh Maxwell. James died in Sydney, Aus and was exhumed later and his remains were returned to Ireland and buried at Staghall. I am also looking for a cousin Fr O'Reilly who was present at James and Roseanne daughter's funeral - Sr Mary Canice (Kathleen Fitzpatrick)of Carrickmacross. In the book Staghall A History, there is a reference to a Fr Pat O'Reilly of Uragh who had connections to Fitzpatricks in the parish. If anyone is able to shed any light on this I would be very grateful. A group of us from Aus and America will be in Belturbet in Jul/Aug 2013 for a reunion and we would love to connect with anyone who may be related.
